Former must have been an accident as it is before Barbarossa. 24 Jul loss was an H-6, Wk Nr 4105 which crashed in an accident at Orscha. Another crew member was wounded (Uffz Richard Wagner-BM)

Re: He 111 Lost 23.6.41 KG53

Morning Chris,
thanks very much for the info, also for the extra man in Baron's crew which i didn't have.

One final query if i may,
29.6.41
He111H-3 A1+CT W.Nr 6932 9/KG53 sht dn by flak Kalinkowitsch.
The crew were reported to have returned to base, can anybody shed any light ,onto the names of the crew?
Possibly that of Hptm Lehmann?

Also the same day and same unit, 3 Nco's were reported MIA.
Could this be related to the above loss?? Or a separate incident!

Gefr. Joachim Dombrowski Bf,
Fw Jakob Burghardt Bs,
Uffz August Rothbauer Bs.

Any help would be really appreciated.
Steve.

This was Lehmann's ac shot down by Flak at Kalinkowitsch. The beobachter, Uffz Willi Hildenbrandt, was wounded, the other 3 listed were missing

Re: He 111 Lost 23.6.41 KG53

Thank you very much Chris for the confirmation.
The other three missing you say, are these from Lehmann's crew?
Are the two connected.

Best regs,
Steve.
