P-47 loss, 02.01.1945
Gentlemen,
the German AA Artillerieabteilung (mot.) 836 claims two US-a/c on 02.01.1945, while protecting V2 launch sides near Niederahr, about 5 km NNE of Montabaur and 20 km NE of Koblenz. The first one should have been Lt. Senecals P-51, 43-6587, 4.FG. The second a/c is given with P-47, the pilot bailed out and was taken as POW. Maybe someone have an idea about his his identity... Thanks in advance A. Heuser |
