In Belgrade still living ex pilot who was personaly decorated by Zukov. He had made Taran attack and down one German airplane while flying Il-2.

He change name after the war. Also he was prisoned at Goli Otok. Will talk more in private about this veteran.

Many thanks for your response. Can any one tell me what were the regiments of the 260 ShAD and 261 ShAD created in November 1944. I Believe the 260 ShAD had 611 and 957 ShAP and the 261 ShAD had 17GvShAP and 839 ShAP but I would welcome further information. Tango Echo Dog |
