Why no Bf 110 in Spanish War?

Does anybody know some serious informations why Bf 110 weren't tested in Spanish Civil War? Even the most modern (then) Ju 87B were sent to Spain. Why not 110? Too secret?

Is that possible that some of them were sent, but it was kept in secret?

The Spanisch Civil War was over, before the Bf 110 can sent for texts with the Legion Condor.

Don't think so. Some Bf 110B were demonstrated to French delegation already in August 1938, and even first Bf 110C were delivered in January 1939.
Bf 109E weren't ready earlier, but went to Spain in considerable numbers. Wouldn't it be interesting to test the 110 against SB bombers?

Was not that because Franco had to pay for the 'help'?

Don't think so, as Franco had to pay for the real help. Some planes, sent in small numbers for testing in Legion Condor (eg. He 112 prototypes, or Ju 87B) weren't much help for Spain.
I don't mean full Staffel of 110s, just two or three for testing in combat.

Why do you think German airplanes were send to Spain FOR TESTS? Was it just a military training area or something like that?

Of course it was! You must know that Legion Condor had special test units, VJ/88 and VB/88, and not only "fresh" types, but even some prototypes of German warplanes were sent for some time to Spain (eg. Bf 109 and He 112) for combat testing.

Test units?
Is this TESTING confirmed by any document?

I don't understand. What documents? I do not have documents, I do have some books (Riess, Ring by Schieffer, Howson etc), which describes existenceand activitiws of Versuchsbomberstaffel/88 and Versuchsjagdstaffel/88 in Legion Condor. As far as I understand, "Versuchs" means "test" or "experimental".
Also fact that several prototypes (Bf 109, single examples of two variants of He 112) were sent to front in Spain pretty reasonably confirms, that Germans were performing combat tests in Spain.
What's the problem with it? I don't understand.
