German aircrew killed on Scottish island

Does anyone have details of the finding of the remains some years ago of 4 German aircrew who had crash landed on a deserted Scottish(?) island, and had been killed by the explosion of their gas cooking cylinder while trying to boil some water?

I have been told it was an He111 that crashed in Norway, not Scotland. Any details?
