8 November 1941 - a bomber unit
 

Hi,

On 8 November 1941 operation Circus 110 was made. I'm looking for information about bomber unit which was a part of this operation.

Hi,
From BCWD,
For the night of 7th/8th November 1941.
Berlin,Cologne,Mannheim,Essen,Ostend, Boulogneand Oslo.
For the 8th November 1941.
11 Blenheims raided Lille and Gosnay.
8th/9th November 1941.
Essen, Dunkirk, Ostend.

`Six aircraft of 21 Sqn and 6 aircraft of 82 Squadron: Lille railway shops, however Gosnay bombed in error.

Thanks a lot Alex and Henk :)
But the fact is only 6 Blenheims from one Squadron (which one?) bombed Gosnay. The second one back to base before meeting with fighter cover.

Thanks a lot Chris.

I know about Northolt Wing. I'm preparing an article about Circuss 110 operations and there is two things I don't know now. The first one is which Blenheim' Squadron bombed Gosnay while the second one is did JG 2 has losses in this combat. But the second question is not for this forum :)
