Repatriation to Countries under Axis Occupation
 

Hi,

This question may have been asked on this forum before , I do not know.

How was the repatriation of Airmen or Soldiers and Sailors arranged and carried out between Britain and the German Forces ?

Also how was this achieved with say Airmen of Countries that were under German occupation , for instance Belgium or Norway ?

And if transported by ship or 'plane what guarantees were there made that they would not be attacked ?
