Unit of Squad. L. Seyfarth
 

Dear Friends of this forum,

in a document I found the name of squadron leader Seyfarth but no idea to which unit/squadron he belonged. It was in March/April 1945.

Possibly based in Gablingen at that time.
Who can help.

This would be Hptm Kurt Seyfarth, RK, DKiG and Pokal holder. Formerly KG 2, at the end of the war he was St Kap of 12/EKG(J) at Gablingen

Consulting Larry deZeng's notes I see that Kurt Seyfarth (born 2 February 1916 in Berlin) is the most likely candidate and that at the time in question he was Staka of 5./Erg.KG(J), like Chris says. Furthermore, referring to Volume 2 of our "Bomber Units of the Luftwaffe" book, the unit was at Gablingen for at least part of this time.
