More Polish Airmen.
Hallo all,
As my initial query on 8 Polish airmen who force-landed in Ireland was so successful, thanks to Franek, I will chance posting a similar appeal for information on another 8 men. This completes my query as only 16 Polish airmen landed here in total. F/Sgt Boleslaw J. Sawiak P-0867 Pilot 315 Sgt Jan Zimek 780963 Pilot 41 F/Sgt Klemens Adamowicz P780537 Pilot 304 Sgt. Stanislaw Czerniawski P794362 2nd Pilot 304 Sgt Pawel Kowalewicz ? W.Oper. 304 Sgt Naftali Hirsz Kuflik ? Nav. 304 Sgt. Kazimierz Lugowski ? WO/AG 304 Sgt Wincenty Pietrzak ? AG 304 Unfortunately all bar Zimek were fatalities as a result of these landings. Again any help will be much appreciated. Regards, Martin Gleeson. |
Re: More Polish Airmen.
Hello martin,
I was able to get a little more information on the 304 Sqn men from Google books but the snippet views would not show everything. I couldn't see Lugowski's entry for example. Dennis |

Re: More Polish Airmen.
Franek,
Many thanks for that great information on all the Polish airmen whose aircraft crashed or force-landed here during the war. Before this we were unable to obtain their full names, etc. Your help is much appreciated. Regards, Martin Gleeson. |
Re: More Polish Airmen.
Oh, just a rudimentary information. I hope you voted 'no' today!

Hi Martin - Please contact me off board re Zimek.
Hi Franek - Could you please tell me what "2006 brak danych" in Zimek's entry means? Thanks Steve The Pilots of 41 Squadron RAF http://brew.clients.ch/RAF41Sqdn.htm |
