Sorry, my mistake. I used to correspond with a "Richard B" in Chiswick who was a Luftwaffe researcher and member of Air Britain. I thought perhaps you were the same person, given your interest in German aircraft.

Obviously the machine with the code beginning in 'J-' is Japanese.

This is a Fokker FXX named Zilvermeeuw. It has flown in KLM service from 1933 untill 1936, after that it flew in Spain and it crashed in february 1938.

The Japanese plane flew in 1937 from Tokyo to Europa :
Mitsubischi " Kamikaze " built with the sponsorship of the Asahi Shimboun newspaper .
