French Airforce during Berlin Airlift 1948

The Armee de la Air play an small part during the Berlin Airlift. But I miss more details like:

Type of Planes (I know only Ju 52, all in white colour seen on an German Wochenschau)

Nummers of Missions?

How many airplanes/crewmembers are lost?

Start they also in Frankfurt-Wiesbaden or in Fassberg?

Thanky for help!!

Re: French Airforce during Berlin Airlift 1948

Hans,

It appears that most French transport planes were engaged in Indochina by that time, but the FAF made some 424 flights to Berlin after all.

Contribution of the French military was (also) in getting Tegel Airport ready to accomodate the airplanes.

The whitish Junkers transports in Germany belonged to GT 3/15 ("Le Maine").

Regards,

Leendert
