T. F. Buys claim on 28.04.1941
 

Hi All!

T.F. Buys, Dutchman pilot of 611 SQN, claimed one He 118 destroyed on 28.04.1941 in Flushing area. But He 118 never flew operational. In Shores Those other Eagle is that elderly Junkers type was damaged.
Does anybody have some other infos about this?
It is for short biography which I wrote there - Theodorus Franciscus Andre Buys (but only in Czech)

Flt.Lt. Buys actually attacked - together with P/O Pennings - one single He 70 over the Flushing area. He fired 720 rounds and scored two hits in the tail of that plane which landed safely on Flushing airfield.

Thank you for your answer. Do you know from which unit this He 70 was? He 70 is not usual plane on western front in 1941 too and it is interesting info for me :)

No, I don't! According to KTB MFA 810 the little plane flew "Zieldarstellung".
