16 May 1940

Hi,

A/C Delegay, S/C Starké and C/C Postolka of 1st Escadrille, GC I/1 claimed in their MB-152s one Do 17 destroyed in Chelles-Gournay area on 16 May 1940. The time should be at about 6.10am.
Doey anyone help me with info about the bomber (Staffel / KG, version and crew) please ?

Hi,

according to book of Peter Cornwell "TBOFTAN" it could be Do 17 from the 2(F)/22, which crashed at Haybes north of Fumay. Fw.H.Meyer abd Uffz.A.Droege KIA, Lt.E.Buraner DOW on the same day.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the info. The location is far from Oise area but the possibility badly damaged recon plane reached F/B frontier is there.
Is the Dornier version mentioned ?
