Dieter Gödels machine
 

Greetings!

I have been wondering about a Fw 190A-8 flown by Dieter Gödel of 9 JG 301 in late -44, it wears a somewhat strange RV band of white-green-white, and has been illustrated by Mr Bergström.

As 9/JG 301 was previously designated 1/JG 302, I am wondering if this was perhaps the RV band of the previous unit?
