Spitfire victories 3 March 43?

Gents

Recently I picked up a document group to German flyer Oblt. Anton Vogl, Vogl served with I./KG54.

According to Siegfried Radtke's "Kampfgeschwader 54" Vogl and his were crew were performing a search/rescue mission for a downed KG54 pilot "In the morning of 3.3.43 the B3+BB crew of Oblt. Vogl starts to the air/sea search for the previous days crew and does not return. After a message from the air traffic control tower in the area of Pozzalo (near Sicily) in this area Spitfire swarms were simultaneously in the air and must be counted as shot down". The crew did ultimately go missing.

My question is are there any claims by Spitfire Sqn's or any other for that matter for that particular day and in that particular region?

Regards

Jeremy
