Air-dropped mine?

Re: What is this ?
Same as these, perhaps...
This Heinkel He111 seems to have a unit badge under the canopy, but it's a little too dark to make out... KG26 a possible contender ? |
Re: What is this ?
I think this may be useful, too... :)
Items are from the undernoted links, the first in (presumably) Ukranian... apologies if this is not the case, the latter in German http://army.armor.kiev.ua/engenear/lmb.shtml http://www.sudden-strike-2-maps.de/p...pic.php?t=2465 |
Re: What is this ?
Sorry, missed this one first time round...

Hello
Nice answer. The picture was located in Saint-leu-d'Esserent (ammunition dump) and the airfield was Creil. Regards |

Great photos, obdl3945!! The mines with the He 111 appear to be different from the mines shown in the trailers. Anyway, here is what appears to be the mine in front of the He 111. It's from "Munitions-Lexikon Band 3 - Deutschen Bomben by Karl R. Pawlas." Hope it helps.
