Claims by 605 Squadron 1943
 

Hi,

I have some questions regarding claims by 605 Squadron during 1943.

Claim 13.02.43 (night 13-14), Pilot S/L Mack, 1 damaged Do 217 at Evreux A/F
According to Tony Wood’s Combats & Casualties Lists he flew a Boston lll but according RAF Figheter Command Victory Claims of WW2 by John Foreman it should be a Mosquito. Which is correct?

For following claims I need help with the name of the pilots and if possible also aircraft serial numbers and codes.
Claim 13.07.43 (night 12-13), 1 damaged Do 217, Eindhoven
Claim 14.07.43 (night 13-14), 1 destroyed Do 217, Eindhoven
Claim 26.07.(night 25-26), 1 destroyed Do 217, Soesterberg
Claim 26.07.43 (night 25-26), 1 damaged Do 217, Eindhoven

Sorry no details of serials

as 605 converted to Mosquitoes in March 42 I would agree with you.

The February claim of Mack was on Boston III W8770 coded UP-S. From the ORB and CR: Air 50/169-222&224.
