Re: Info sought on following 5 Luftwaffe aircrew killed in action

Hello!
I have a picture of Uffz. Tremel.

He was a pilot in Erg.St. St.G. 77

During a practice flight 20.04.1943 his plane, a Ju 87 R-1 comes to close to the ground and crashes (Ju 87 R-1, Wnr. 5444, DK + RS)
His Bf Uffz. Werner Hugo Meyer is also killed in the crash, which happened 15 km. north of the airfield Nikolajew by Godorochowka/Kirowograd in Ukraine.
Tremel was burried at the military cemetary in Nikolajew, Block C, row 17 and grave Nr. 830. This cemetary was later destroyed by the sovjets, so his grave is unknown today.
I have these info´s from another board and Weltkriegsopfer.de if i remember it correctly.
Best wishes
Christian

Hi,

I think Josef Heim was a Me262 fighter pilot in the 3./J.G.7.

I believe this information was taken from so-called Death Cards, issued by the families of the deceased.
