can anyone confirm Halifax 8A-P: LL293 or LL294?

Sources report both serial numbers. Can anyone confirm which one it is?

The squadron code was 8A-P and the aircraft belonged to 298 squadron and the pilot was F/0 Bill Taylor. It was lost in action 14/15 october 1944.
