Hungarian pilot Lazlo Palko
 

Hello,

With sadness I observe that the Hungarian pilot László Palkó (http://surfcity.kund.dalnet.se/hungary_palko.htm), passed away on 24 July 2008 in Australia.
He was probably the last surviving pilot from the Slovak-Hungarian border clashes in 1939.

He was the last surviving pilot, who scored an air victory on that day and he was also the eldest living Hungarian fighter pilot. There are few others from this conflict, who are still with us (from both sides). The eldest is 102-year-old.
