GenMaj Wolf von Stutterheim KIA June 15 1940

Hello,

does somebody has more information about crash, location, W.Nr., crew of plane in which was severely wounded von Stutterheim, Geschwaderkommodre KG 77, on June 15 1940?

Hi,

probably shot down by a few pilots from GCII/7 W of Neufchateau and c/l by Leurville 15.15. Beside him on board were: Olt.G. Esch slightly WIA, Lt.R.Gaude EPJ and taken prisoner next day, Fw.H.Herrig EPJ but killed by fighters while floating down. Fw.O.Jelinek died in the aircraft. Do 17Z.
