Japanese Ace against Soviet Russia

Hello,

I am interested in any biographical/career data on the following Japanese fighter pilot that flew against Russia in 1939:

Hiromichi Shinohara

My current research shows that this ace had 58 victories - all scored within 3 months during the Khalkin Gol incident.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

I would recommend the following book:

Japanese Army Air Force Fighter Units and Their Aces, 1931-1945 by Ikuhiko Hata, Yasuho Izawa & Chridtopher Shores (Grub Street, 2002).

Regards,
Tom
