1937-39 Referent (specialist) for Fliegerbordwaffen in the Technischen Amt/RLM.
30.03.38 received the Lw. advanced flying certificate.
20.04.38 trf into the Generalstab d.Lw.
28.08.39 ordered TDY to KG 76 (to 31.10.39).
09.39 Maj., appt Kdr. I./KG 28 (to 11.39).
