Loss of Feldwebel Alfons Haaf - April 1943 in Tunis

Hi,

Could anyone provide details of the unit and loss of Feldwebel Alfons Haaf. He was a pilot in a fighter squadron who was shot down o 29th April 1943 in an air battle over Tunis.

Hello Rick,

Fw. Alfons Haaf from the 4./JG53, was killed in aerial combat on the 29. April 1943. He flew a Bf 109G-6 WNr.16585 marked white 11+-, which went down over the Sea (Pl.Qu. 13Ost/0725).
