Nice photo of a Spitfire.

Can't recognise the squadron symbol - perhaps someone else can help.

Can't find any losses for a Spitfire on 20.10.40 over France or a week either side. Bit of a mystery?

Perhaps it is 41 or 42?

regards

Spitfire 20/10/1941

Hi,

The Spitfire could be AD203 of 234 Squadron which went missing on 20/10/1941.
Please have a look at : http://www.rafweb.org/SqnMark231-234.htm

Best regards

Luc
