About Spitfire I`m searching folowing: -type of RAF cocards -code letters -variant of Mk.IX - C or E?? -camouflage What I know? about komet:it flew like glider in 1946. It had british cocards, training yellow under surfaces,it flew without rocket motor. about spitfire:S/N EN498, Spitfire Mk.IX, year of production is 1943, motor Merlin 61, it was used by glider tub for Komet. Thank you for your help one more thing, have someone contact of Eric "Winkle" Brown? He piloted this Komet during tests by RAE. Thanks. |
