Information about Bf 110 W.Nr 3872

Hi,

Does anyone have any information about Bf 110 W.Nr 3872. I believe that it was damaged in a bombing raid on Sardinia in July 1943. I’m particularly interested in finding out what variant it was.

Thanks for that bit of information. Looks like W.Nr 3872 was repaired and returned to an operational unit, albeit as a liason aircraft.
