MiG-21 and MiG-21

In the Indo-Pakistan war was large air combat and both sides engaged MiG-21. But very little data was avilable about this air combats. Didd any of you hear or have any info about the combat between MiG-21 there?

Cheers :)

Re: MiG-21 and MiG-21

Pilot,

A good starting point may be the bharak-rakshat website, which has stories about the 1971 (air) war here: http://www.bharat-rakshak.com/IAF/Hi...War/index.html

Following Pakistani site has a detailed list of PAF claims:
http://www.pakdef.info/pakmilitary/a...afkills71.html

It appears that there was one PAF Mig-19 (= F-6) vs IAF Mig-21 claim, on 14 Dec 1971...

I know that pages and they are very useful. Many years ago I have read in some of local publications that combat between MiG-21 happen there but never find any precise info. pakistan pilots have many of air claims on their Shenyang F-6.

Cheers :)
