Luftwaffe losses june 3rd 1940/victories 14th june
 

Hi everybody
i'm quite new on the forum, and i hope i'll able to help as much as i can !
I'm mostly working (as my friend Lionel :) !) on the French Air force in 1940. At the moment i have two problems with lufftwaffe victories and losses....
And may be i hope someone can help me...

1) i'm currently working on the "unternehmen paula", the big bombardement of paris june 3rd 1940.
I have moste of the information from archive but i'd like to know if someone knows pictures of :
- Kammhuber Ju-88 A-1 (W. nr 88.322, 9K+AA) Stab/KG-51, shot down by GC I/3 & I/8
- Fw Willi Roth Me 109 (5+-) of 4./JG26 shot down by GC I/1 or II/1
- Lt. Kurt Schade Me 109 (8+~) of 9./JG2 shot down by GC I/5

2) I work of french DAT patrol of Tours. For the first time i have french aircraft shotdown in dog fight... but no Luft victories !
On june 14th a KG bombing the Tours airfield escorted by Me 110. Some Bloch fighters take off : one is is shot down and one other severly damaged.
After a lot of search it's impossible for me to find what ZG fights with the Bloch, and moreover who claimed the victories...
If someone could help me it will be a trully dream !! :D

Hi,

the MB-151 fighters from DAT Tours were attacked on 14.06.40 by 8 and 7/ZG26. Some five claims were made by German pilots (Uffz.Walter Scherer from 8/ZG26 andfrom 7/ZG26: Ofw.Siegfried Hase, Lt. Kuno Konopka, Uffz.Hans Grau and Lt.Hans Seehausen).

So this is the ZG 26 !
In Tony Wood claim list they appear but with no place and there are 9 victories (optimistic !).
By logical i really think you are right... i' ve no hundred solution !
i'll search around the pilots & the units to find more details... may if someone have some more...

Hi,

they were a bit earlier in combat with some RAF Hurricanes (17.00-17.10) so not all claims were made against DAT Tours (one MB-151 c/l and one damaged).
