Please could anyone let me know wich Luftwaffe units were based at Le Touquet on the 20/12/1940 ?

Hi Bernard,

according to Michael Holm's site I/JG 53 was stationed at Le Touquet from 1/10/40 till 21/12/40.

Question : is the Etaples airfield the same as the Le Touquet airfield?

Hi every body
According the "HS Avions n°10 losses of luftwaffe day fighters in France Vol 1" (Les pertes de la chasse de jour allemande en France Vol.1 1939-1940) by Pierre Watteeuw it seems that the III./JG 53 was at La Touquet/Etaples airfield from 24.08.1940 to 19.12.1940

for the requested time frame, I find on Michael Holm's site www.ww2.dk the following for the Etaples airfield:

Stab/JG 53 : 23/8/40 till 21/12/40.
