Maj Donald A. Young

Maj Donald A. Young (2/0/4) flew with 335FS/4FG between 9/42-10/43. Earlier he flew with 133 Sqn, has any one got details of his career with this Sqn. Did he make any claims?

According to Eagle Sq. Historian Vern Haugland , he served in 121 Sq.
Damaged FW 190 ?? and Ju 88( already going down in flames when he hit it , any credit unknown).

You are correct, it was 121 Sqn not 133 Sqn, I was in error.

Re the Fw 190 he bounced and damaged - could have eventually gone down? This took place over English Channel on 6 - 31 - 42.Glad I could help a bit.
