Re: Kurt Martinek
Here is what we have on this guy:
MARTINEK, Kurt. 1942 Oblt., Staka 3./NJG 5 (to 03.11.42 - killed in non-operational crash 5 km NW of Stendal). Its not much, but he doesn’t appear elsewhere, apparently. You could try the new Theo Boiten book. Good luck. LdZ DGS |
Re: Kurt Martinek
According to Luftwaffe Night Fighter Combat Claims 1939-45 by Foreman, Matthews and Parry, Martinek served with 9./NJG 4 with the rank of Oblt. and gained five victories with the unit prior to becoming Staka. 3./NJG 5. Details of his victims can also be found on the Lost Bombers website for what they are worth.
Would appreciate any details regarding crew names, a/c type, WNr and markings of his loss. Cheers Gordon |
