My Moelders Biography

Hi all,

from my very beginning as an author and publisher, one project had always been at the top of my list: writing the ultimate biography of Werner Moelders, the Godfather of modern fighter tactics. Now here it is, finally. Years of intense research around the world, dozens of interviews with contemporary witnesses and exclusive access to all of Moelders’ private letters, diaries, notes and personal belongings have been transformed into 400 pages. It’s all facts. No stone unturned. No bias, no speculations. Some popular myths about the man are lying shattered left and right of the road now, but – getting rid of them was necessary to rediscover one of the most fascinating and influential leaders in the history of aerial warfare. If you want to have a closer look at what I’ve called ‘Werner Moelders. Die Biographie’, click www.neunundzwanzigsechs.de .

Cheers, looking forward to your comments,
Kurt

Kurt

When you have them translated into English, I will be one of the first in line!! Your previous books have recieved very good reviews, and I am rather positive your new Mölder's book will be in the same vein. BUT, for me trying to understand such complex German language as in biographies, no thanks, I will all the time come up short handed.

Cheers
Stig

Hello Mr. Braatz,

I read all your books up to now. My most favorites are "Schafsweide" and "Feindberührung". I'm looking forward to read your new book. Just ordered a copy yesterday. Thanks for writing those great books.

Regards,

Matthias

Werner Mölders was laid to rest at the Invalidenfriedhof in Berlin, "head to head" with Udet.

The photo shows Luftwaffe veterans at his grave during their Berlin visit in September 2008. From the left: Hans-Ekkehard Bob, Hajo Herrmann, Karl-Fritz Schlossstein and Peter Spoden.

I wish you good success with the book.

All the best,
Horst Kube

Looks very interesting. I have the final photo taken of Moelders before his crash, taken by a member of KG 27 in the Ukraine. I sent copies to Victor Moelders. My uncle was CO of Ergaenzungs-Jagdgruppe 51 under Moelders. They did not get along at all.

How wonderful this would be if there were an edition available in English. I profess my own international ignorance and only have a limited "Spanish" speaking/reading ability thanks to 3 years of college. Using Babelfish for such an extensive text is soooo laborious.

Big fan of 296 Verlag productions. Real books. Looking forward to this one. Any news on the translation of Feindberührung ?
