Stab JG 54

I am trying to find out to which Luftflotten Stab JG 54 was attached from May 1942 to December 1943.
First of all does anyone have any information on airfields used by this unit and the rough dates?
If not can any-one tell me in which Luftflotte areas Oberstleutnant Johannes Trautloft (Geschwader Kommodore to July 5 1943) and his successor Major Hubertus von Bonin had victories from May 1942? This will help indicate where the Stab was assigned.

Hi

Or you could use the strength & loss reports, which would give the following results:

May 1942 - Fabruary 1943 - Luftflotte 1
End of February 1943 - Luftflotte 3, changing places with Stab/JG 26
Mid April 1943 - back with Luftflotte 1
Mid July 1943 - to Luftflotte 6
End of July 1943 - back with Luftflotte 1
Early August 1943 - to Luftflotte 6 again
Mid August 1943 - to Luftflotte 4
End August 1943 to end of 1943 - Luftflotte 6

Andreas
Very many thanks.
This fills in a major hole in my monthly orbats of the Luftwaffe on the Eastern Front.

Tango Echo Dog, are these monthly orbats open for public?

I would be very interested ;)

At the moment I am still working on them.
They cover 1943 and 1944 (January to December) but I am cross-checking 1944 (probably a couple of week's work) and extending it to May 1942.
I aim to go to Freiburg next year to smooth out some of the kinks.
I am also working on a comparative Soviet Air Force orbat but have got only the PVO. I have paused working on Frontal Aviation and have still to do Long Range and Naval Aviation.
But send me your e-mail address and I will pass on what I have for 1943-1944.
