Generaloberst Hans Jeschonnek
 

I am wondering if anyone has any detailed information on Generaloberst Hans Jeschonnek's burial. The Chief of the Luftwaffe General Staff killed himself in Goldap on 18 August 1943 (most sources say he did this on 19 August 1943, but I have some good evidence to show that that date is incorrect). I believe I read somewhere that Jeschonnek had requested to be buried on near the shore of Lake Goldap, but haven't been able to relocate the information.
