Hi guys
I've been perusing the Auster Production List website and have noted the following incidents, possibly all caused by 'friendly fire' or balloons. I need to investigate all but wonder if anyone can help in the meantime. I wish to obtain details including names and fates of crews: LB292 653 Sqn balloon incident 12/3/43 NJ690 Balloon incident 25/3/45 NJ723 83 Grp Comm Sqn balloon incident 6/4/45 MZ121 655 Sqn shot down by own AA? 29/2/44 NK112 hit by own AA 17/1/45 MT383 655 Sqn hit by own AA 19/3/44 MT419 657 Sqn shot down by own AA 12/4/44 NJ105 654 Sqn hit by own AA 25/5/44 MT188 (or 118) hit by own AA 28/2/45 MS966 660 Sqn hit by own AA 5/1/45 (Capt Lee) MT274 damaged by blast of own AA gun 26/6/44 Any help will be appreciated. For 12/04/1944 I found a casualty on CWGC: Capt. John Buchan (Royal Artillery), attached to 657 Squadron and buried at Cassino War Cemetery. Regards, Leendert |

Another Royal Artillery captain, Anthony Dick, is recorded on the CWGC-website. 29/02/1944, attached to 655 Squadron, buried at Anzio, Italy. Regards, Leendert |
