barkhorns me-109
I need to find a profile photo of Gerd Barkhorns ME-109 "CHRISTL" in particular the lettering style used for his wifes name.
I have one photo that shows part of the name. Any help appreciated. Gary |

Re: barkhorns me-109
Hi Gary:
At one time, the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio had a Messerschmitt Bf109G on display. I think it was a -6 version. Anyway, it was done up as Barkhorn's aircraft. I'm pretty sure I have a color photo with the "Christl" inscription on it. If you like, I can e-mail a copy of this picture to you. Send me your e-mail address through the private message system. |
Re: barkhorns me-109
Gary- I have find the image today in my PC and there will not be a problem to email you. But are you actually looking for the font type? If this is about I will find in my bookmarks site where you upload image with letters and search engine find for you what font is this.

Re: barkhorns me-109
I did a profile of Barkhorns F-4 with Christl on it so I got one version which is layered and easy to get a clean copy of. The style of the lettering changed from plane to plane though...
