Henschel Hs129

Greetings all,

I would like to know how many different official camouflage patterns are used on Hs129B? Of course if any of you have some image for share I would be grateful.

Cheers :)

Re: Henschel Hs129

There was only ever one official camouflage scheme, 70/71 over 65. The only real differences in this scheme being where the tactical (yellow) markings were carried, dependent on the time frame.

They also received sand brown/olive green oversprays or sand brown squiggles when in North Africa and white distemper finishes in the winter.

A facsimile of the original painting diagram can be seen at the back of Martin Pegg's epic work,

Cheers,
Chris

So only this two. Late war samples did not received new colors? All right, I feel better now. Please tell me more about the Martin pegg work if you please :)

Cheers

The official camouflage scheme, as well as other excerpts from the original handbook, is included in my technically oriented book on the Hs 129, published by Midland in 2006. http://www.ianallanpublishing.com/pr...roductid=50241

Dénes' book is a fine one, lovely done. It also has the advantage of being available now, whereas Martin Pegg's volume has gone o.p., I think.
