VIII fliegerkorps on 4 july 1943
According to my sources VIII fliegerkorps lost two Ju 88 and one Bf 109 on 4 july 1943:
Ju 88A-4 W.Nr.1196 “5K+FM” of 4./KG 3 Ju 88A-4 W.Nr.6718 of 6./KG 3 Bf 109G-4 W.Nr.14940 “yellow 6” of 6./JG 3 I have two questions about this: 1. Is this loss list correct? 2. Does anybody know more info? P.S. Sorry for my bad english |

Thanks Andy!
I've visited this link and founded that on 4 july KG 27 had one He 111 damaged and SchG 1 three FW 190's damaged: - He111H-16 W.Nr.162832, 14.(Eis)/KG 27 Kursk-Woronesh 40% F - Fw 190A-5 W.Nr. 1130 1./Sch.G. 1 Tire damage while landing. Fl.Pl. Barwenkowo 50% F - Fw 190A-5 W.Nr. 5958 6./Sch.G. 1 Pilot error. Pl.Qu. 615 15% H - Fw 190A-5 W.Nr. 5932 6./Sch.G. 1 Undercarriage damage while landing. Anapa 40% H KG 27 and SchG 1 participated in operation Citadelle under VIII Fliegerkorps's HQ. II./SchG 1 was on the move from Anapa to Kursk area on 2-4 july 1943. It seems to me that last two Fw 190A-5's of II./SchG 1 were damaged during this move. Who can confirm my suppositions about it? |
