JG 52 histories
As far as I know, there is no thorough history of the JG 52 (like Lorant&Goyat) available in English. Why? I mean that it seems that no JG that served mostly on the Eastern Front has received a proper unit history in English.

I once saw a TV programme about Anthony Beevor and in every country he went he introduced the TV crew to his researcher in that country. I don't think most aviation authors have that luxury (maybe because they don't sell as many books as Beevor). |
Re: JG 52 histories
Actually, how many German units got the proper research published in English? I would say quite reasonable number comparing to the war effort. Still waiting for a good (exhaustive) JG 2 monograph!
