P-38G March 1943 losses?
 

Was P-38G of 14th Fighter Group lost prior March 25, 1943 intact in Germany?
On that date J.C. Lt Harrison of 94th Squadron was shot down by enemy piloted P-38.

But I see the problem: story says that the P-38 landed in Sardinia on 12 June 1943, while Lentz was shot down 25 March 1943.
Another P-38 involved?

Name of shot down USAAF pilot was Lt. J.C. Harrison Lentz.

I already have note of this P-38 - but who was the P-38 pilot shot down by the B-17 gunners in September 1943? Do we know?
