Well Mongoose44

There is not that much on the net. You have to visit the bookstore or the library. Try finding:
'Bombs Gone' by John A.MacBean & Arthur S Hogben ISBN 1-85260-060-8
or
'Sprengkommandos' by Manfred Rauschert ISBN 3-87943-717-3

The first book describes British ordonannance from 1912 to mid 80'ies. The main theme is bombs during WW II. There are a lot of pictures and drawings. It is a good book that will give you basic knowledge of British bombs.

'Sprengkommandos' is in German and I know that you do not like this language. It is a very good book which describes allied bombs (some in detail) and the Germans problems with them.

Otherwise you have to visit the archives (PRO in the UK).

Thanks. BTW there is nothing wrong with the German langauge and I actually worked for a Bremen company in HongKong for 6 years. The problem is my comprehension :-)
