Extra wide prop blades on He111

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what these extra-wide prop blades on this FL He111 indicate about model and possible date of this incident? Would this be well-beyond 1940?

Thanx,

Re: Extra wide prop blades on He111

This does not appear to be an extra wide blade, but merely a more "flat on" than normal view of the laminated wood blade as used on He 111s that had the Jumo 211F engine such as the H-6, H-16, etc. versions. These started coming into use in 1941 but didn't become common til 1942.
