Dr. Klukist?

A German document mentioning the sale of some Bf 109s to Hungary in Sept. 1942 mentions the name of Dr. Klukist.

Would anyone know any info on this person?

Thanks,

For what its worth, he doesn't appear in our compilation of Luftwaffe officers. Of course, that's is no guarantee that he wasn't in the Luftwaffe. Most likely not.

Thank you, Doug. I presume he was the person facilitating the sale of the '109s to the Hungarians. Perhaps he was affiliated with the Mtt. Works?

Denes

The doc dated 19/9/42 says (Shaftsrat, Dr. Kluglist), can somebody say what Schaftsrat means and this could clear this item up.

That would indeed be nice, as the on-line translator gives the translation as "shank advice".

Google translate gives the meaning as Economic Council, which makes more sense.

Can anyone assist in any detail on Dr. Klukist, or the Bf 109Ds sold to Hungary?

Does the document have anything near the top that gives its origin? Or is there a signature and mention of a branch of the Luftwaffe?

If it was meant to read Schaffsrat, that could work.

Well
I am not a historical expert but as a native german speaker Schaffsrat or Shaftsrat sounds pretty strange.

Stadtrat (town councillor )
makes sense, but such a person has hardy anything to do with selling airplanes.

Edit:
or Staatsrat = State Council

It's possible to get an sight on the document? As an German native speaker I believe "...schaftsrat" is an part of an longer word like "Wirtschaftsrat" or so.

Greetings
Rasmussen

Hi Rasmussen
I agree, that makes sense.
