Can anyone tell me who the Staffelkapitaen of the 6./J.G. 11 was on 19 May 1944? I have a Wehrpass for a pilot killed on this date and it was closed out by his Staffelkapitaen; however, I can't read the signature.

Can you make a scan of the signature? Lt. Lüchau or Lt. Wimmers?

Thanks a million! The signature is certainly that of Oskar Wimmers. Attached are eight images of the Wehrpass. Although unit commanders usually put one and sometimes two notations in a Wehrpass stating that a pilot was killed, Wimmers made seven such notations in Martin Mueller's Wehrpass.
