thanks in advance. |
Re: 9 K.G.(J) 30
According to our book, “Bomber Units of the Luftwaffe – A Reference Source” Volume 2:
9./KG(J) 30 Formed new on 23 November 1944 at Pardubitz/Czechoslovakia. Underwent training on fighters but conducted no operations as a Mistel unit. By February 1945 the unit was apparently at Pilsen. Disbanded by 26 April 1945. LdZ DGS |

Re: 9 K.G.(J) 30
In fact, I. and II./KG(J) 30 conducted at least one, maybe two operations with Mistels. I am sure it was not II./KG 200 but really I. and II./KG(J) 30. Yes, I. and II./KG(J) 30 sent trained pilots to II./KG 200, but at least in one occasion flew KG(J) 30 combat mission.
