Not Spitfire.

Probably a very low grade item poorly filled, resin coated and equipped with a dummy gun button or could even be a cast/moulded replica.

They are all made by Dunlop with individual Type specific features.

On a Spitfire the air feed lines are internal to the mount diameter. This one has external feed line.

No brake lever and parking catch.

HI,

the markings are:

CCG3390 and X1987

Does this mean anything?

The number you should be looking for is AH8068.

This is the Dunlop drawing/part number.

Where are you reading these numbers?

Conceptually, why was the "Spade Grip" conceived and then later abandoned as a control column?

Thanks
