Fürth Airfield Map or Aerial View

Hello,

I am looking for a map or aerial view of WWII Luftwaffe airfield Fürth.

Does anybody know where to find one?

Thanks!

Roger

Very interesting, thanks! As I live just around the corner, I looked it up in GE... here it is:

As far as I could see, all buildings are still there...

After the war, it was used by the US Forces. Now that the "Amis" left, it is possible to rent places there for any kind of hobby. Some years ago, me and some friends had hired a small room for jamming there :D.

Hi Chris & Jörg,

Thanks a lot! That's helpful. I got some negatives of a USAAF member that took photos of the airfield including P-51s and German aircraft. I wanted to understand where these aircraft were found at the airfield and both your map and the satelite view are very helpful for this task.

It is interesting to see how little has changed compared to 60 years ago.

All the best,
Roger
