Hi all !

I would like to know more on an air raid of the german city of Beckum.

According to a local history book in the morning of 21.03.1944 an
attack force dropped about 250 bombs on an area south to the city
(map see attachment).

Supposedly there were 2 possible targets:

#1 Wireless Station (Höxberg hill, ?Radar)
#2 Explosives depot (Fa. Hagedorn, Göttfricker Weg)

I guess it was a 9th AF attack, but the "USAAF chronology" doesn't give details.

Any more info (target, Bomb Groups involved, results etc.) very much
