Hello,

In my research regarding British pilots of 350 (Belgian) Squadron I came allong these two pilots:

J. E. V. BAXTER (135714)
E. J. FREEMAN/ D.F.M. (128708)

Can someone confirm me if we are talking about John Baxter and Eric Freeman that I'm looking for, who joined 350 Sqn in May 1945.

Has somebody additional information about them.

I can add a little for you:

• Edward James Freeman
• DFM gazetted 22/8/41 while serving with 83 Sqn as a Sergeant (No.905504)
• Not sure at this stage if he was a pilot or aircrew that remustered as a pilot later in the war before joining 350 Sqn

Will see if I can find out more information and will advise.

Thank you for this information. Now I know that E.J. Freeman isn't the person I'm looking for. It isn't easy to find people without their Service Number. I keep on searching.
